The heart shape rarely gets worn this large, and here it commands the setting entirely, full through the lobes with a fancy yellow colour that leans golden rather than pale. Set in warm gold claws, the stone keeps its saturation intact, a detail easy to overlook until you see it done wrong elsewhere. White pear diamonds stand guard on either side, cut to angle away from the centre stone in a soft, symmetrical taper. The shank cools to white gold just past the setting.
