The Point arrived under Matthieu Blazy as part of his reexamination of what Bottega Venetas craft vocabulary could become. The triangular patent leather frame is the structural idea — geometric, architectural, a deliberate counterpoint to the softness of the braided leather body it contains. In this particular mint, the bag reads as a single tonal object despite the contrast between the matte braid and the lacquered frame, a feat of colour considered enough to feel effortless.
